ALARA LAGOS has been described as the Colette of Lagos, making a home for those Aquazzura sunflower flats or for the savvier woman, you have your YSL Opyum black heels.
Alara is that spot in Lagos that is or should be on your bucket list.
Alara greets you with its' extremely geometric structure, cascading over you.
It gives you a feeling of importance and possibly assurance that you are at the 'it spot'. You know what you are about to meet will not disappoint.
With a very modern style of architecture, it gives you a very nice twist of Africa's culture.
Heading into the store, you are greeted by the overly nice staff, I imagine this display of flattery is as a result of the commission they get on every sale they make.
ALARA LAGOS
There are splurges of colour coming at you from every angle, you are literally a leprechaun sitting in his pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, except in a more glamorous and Picasso-like setting.

With over 27.K followers on Instagram, it's not a surprise that even individuals as young as 15 are finding themselves there just to get that Instagram picture to show off they are just as important or relevant as the next person there.
Everyone knows with an excessive day of shopping comes hunger and a thirst for a glass of champagne or not the sweet-tooth, a cocktail.

ALARA offers its own restaurant called NOK, or better known as NOK By ALARA.
This restaurant is open to an outdoor garden and lounge area that has hand-woven straw chairs, as well as artisan sculpture lounge chairs, leaving you feeling as though you are sat in the middle of Marrakesh.
With a menu suited for just about anyone, it offers African food presented in an artistic manner - you know those restaurants in Mayfair that basically serve you some rare Madagascan flower as your main course? And you know this isn't going to fill you up but you order it anyway just for the experience and the 'gram.

Alara's most talked about delicacy is their peppered snails with a side of your choice. This, I must say tastes exquisite, melting in your mouth and leaving you with a mouth full of bursting flavours.
With so much to offer and not enough money in the world to get everything, Alara leaves you with a hole that brings you right back to fill it up.
