TYPE
21-year-old founder of TYPE, Abrah Johnson, Fashion management and marketing student at the University For the Creative Arts launches her natural hair brand for women of colour, and anyone with curly hair. Targeting millennials, her aim for TYPE is a product that will kill the stereotypical generalisation of what is classified as naturl hair.
TYPE. For the individual who chooses quality over quantity,

TYPE. The product your hair yearns for.

TYPE. A brand that goes above and beyond to design and create a product that works for every hair type.

TYPE is not just a product, it is a lifestyle, a brand that explores the science of natural hair.

What is natural hair?
In plain mans' terms, natural hair is exactly what it is - natural hair. It is hair that has not been tampered with, no man-made chemicals or artificial curls, it is the hair you were born with.

But with this term now stigmatised to the afro, curly and coily hair, mainly related to people of colour and/or of African descent, the term natural hair excludes the Caucasian individual.
TYPE has filled that space in the market, that will cater to every type of natural hair, from the half Spanish and Liberian woman, the Nigerian born woman, the women with curly hair, even more so, women with coily hair.

Seeing as hair is ever-changing, TYPE has gathered a team of experts that will analyse each of their clients' hair and create a formula that is suited to just their hair.
Think Kiehl's skin patch test, except for your hair.
With shampoos and conditioners starting at £20, and £30 for your personalised oils and customised frosted glass bottle packaging, TYPE is the lifestyle you want to buy into.
